Rin Kagawa (香川 凛, Kagawa Rin) is a first year highschool student and a junior of the shogi club members. She is in love with Ayumu Tanaka but she embraced the fact that she won't win his heart and decided to instead help him win against Urushi Yaotome in shogi. Her surname Kagawa associates with the piece Lance and she always uses it when she plays shogi.
Appearance[]
Rin has a short black hair and she always looked serious. She has a pair of black eyes. She also has a beautiful face and figure according to Urushi. She usually wears her school's sailor uniform, with black bike shorts under her skirt.
Personality[]
Rin always looked serious. She has lot of similarities with Ayumu such as their competitive athlete mindset and their straightforward and direct playstyle. But she sometimes blush when Ayumu praises her and she misinterpreted it. She is really gluttonous and is energetic whenever it comes to food. She can also finish a large serving of okonomiyaki alone! She used to have a really competitive mindset where the stronger gains more respect. She looks up to Ayumu and Takeru when she was in the kendo club back in middle school. But, now she looks up to the supposedly strongest shogi player, Maki.
Overview[]
She belonged to the kendo club when she was in middle school. She never landed a hit to Ayumu and decided to confess her feelings to him if she does someday. But she would easily beat Ayumu in shogi as Ayumu had just started playing it. She still has her straightforward aura though, she had just changed a little because she now has a goal, which is to help Ayumu win against senpai.
